5249 ARCTIC GREY
A perfect subdued blue with a hint of green. Creates an incredibly pleasant space. Combine with a deeper blue such as 5030 St. Pauls Blue.
As far as greys go, the warm greys 1024 Timeless, 1462 Evening Sky and 1434 Elegant are superb complements to Arctic Grey.
Arctic Grey also works vividly with 1001 Egg White, 9918 Classic White and 1624 Skylight.
5030 ST. PAULS BLUE
One of our most popular blues; a perfect combination of blue with a grey undertone. The subtile dash of green is what makes it an ideal match for mint hues such as 7163 Minty Breeze, 7555 Soft Mint, or greenish-blue hues such as 5249 Arctic Grey. Why not try St. Pauls Blue with golden grey favourites such as 1024 Timeless, 1462 Evening Sky or the two warmer grey hues 10679 Washed Linen, or 0394 Soft Grey.
Avoid St. Pauls Blue together with warm blue hues such as 4638 Elegant Blue or 4618 Evening Light, or even 4477 Deco Blue - because the green undertone in St. Pauls Blue would then shine through and create imbalance. Works well with both 1001 Egg White - as well as with 9918 Classic White, 7236 Jazz White and 1624 Skylight.
7163 MINTY BREEZE
Many people’s favourite – and it’s easy to see why! It is refined, attractive and cheerful all at the same time. Combine with 5030 St. Pauls Blue for an edgy, modern look. Together with 7555 Soft Mint or paler tones such as 1024 Timeless, it is a touch calmer, but has just as much of an impact. Sensational with the new grey 1145 Band Stone or a warm grey such as 1032 Iron Grey or 1462 Evening Sky.
Works best with 9918 Classic White. If using warm greys, 1624 Skylight will also work, as these colours are shown to advantage against a slightly warmer white.
10679 WASHED LINEN
One of our favourite colours from last year remains popular – the delightful and warm Washed Linen. Together with 1376 Mist, 0394 Soft Grey and 1352 Tender Grey, this colour has found its way into people’s hearts. One reason for this is that it works so well with Cotton Ball, which is a popular white for picking out features – not a given when talking about greige ! Ideal for greenish tones such as the new 8478 Pale Green and 8479 Evergreen, as well as last years 8252 Green Harmony and 8469 Green Leaf. Another good choice is 7163 Minty Breeze. And don’t forget the ever-popular blues 4618 Evening Light, 4638 Elegant Blue and 4477 Deco Blue! Reddish colours and pinks such as 2856 Warm Blush, 2859 Whispering Red and 2992 Delightful Pink are other cheerful companions. Works with 9918 Classic White, 1624 Skylight, 1001 Egg White and 1453 Cotton Ball.
1352 TENDER GREY
A winner every time – a relaxed, delightful and suitably dark warm grey. Combine with 10679 Washed Linen and 0394 Soft Grey for an unbeatable warm grey palette. However, 1352 Tender Grey will also set off the muted beige 1140 Sand to perfection. Why not be bold and add golden tones alongside 1352 Tender Grey? We recommend the elegant 10683 Cashmere. Works with 9918 Classic White, 1624 Skylight, 1001 Egg White and 1453 Cotton Ball.
1145 BAND STONE
With its pleasant balance of grey and brown, this is the perfect dark warm grey. Yes, it’s really that simple. This colour is likely to find its way into countless homes around the world over the next year. Try it with 10679 Washed Linen and 1352 Tender Grey for a winning combination. It looks equally fantastic with bold colours. Blues, pinks, greens and yellows – the list is endless thanks to this colours tremendous versatility. Opt for a darker colour and discover just how elegant it can be! Works with 9918 Classic White, 1624 Skylight, 1001 Egg White and 1453 Cotton Ball.
10683 CASHMERE
This muted yet elegant ochre is capable of bringing any dull grey interior to life, yet it is assertive enough to feature on all four walls as well. 10683 Cashmere is a colour that grows on you gradually, as you discover just how it lifts other colours and materials around it. If your preference is for contrasts, marry it with a black such as 9938 Blackened Black. Works with 9918 Classic White, 1624 Skylight, 1001 Egg White and 1453 Cotton Ball.
9918 CLASSIC WHITE
A clean and neutral white. Far whiter than 1624 Skylight, and 1001 Egg White. You should bear this in mind if you are thinking of using Classic White.
